糖類の摂取量と体重変化の関係を評価した30件以上のRCTと観察研究のメタ分析。等カロリー条件下では糖類の増減だけでは体重に有意差はなかった。しかし砂糖を増やした研究では総カロリー摂取が増え体重増加が生じており、砂糖の「過食誘発性」が重要因子とされた。
